Sequent Health’s GPO Saving Practices Money

February 01, 2017, 11:35 AM | by: merge | No Comments

Last fall, Sequent announced a new group purchasing program that was being developed for all independent, private-practice physician offices participating in Sequent.  I am pleased to announce that the program is now ready for practices to enroll and being taking advantage of the group-volume discounts on med/surg and administrative supplies.  (see informational flyer attached)

Initially, Sequent invited several practices to participate in a pilot to assess the savings.  The initial pilot study showed that practices are able to save 20-30% on their annual supply spend.  Each of the practices that participated in the pilot are now enrolling in the program.

There will be an Informational Breakfast meeting to discuss the nuts and bolts of the group purchasing program:

Date:     February 16th, 7 am to 8 am

Location:  Gwinnett Medical Group- Conference Center- 665 Duluth Hwy., Suite 801, Lawrenceville, GA

Topic:  Group Purchasing Project Implementation Kickoff:  Cost Analysis and lesson learned from Pilot Programs

Speaker: Jonathan Brockmann, Medline Representative for Sequent Health

Food:  Breakfast Included

If you are unable to attend the breakfast but want to learn more about the group purchasing program, please contact Yousuf Khan at 678 312-3712 or  ykhan@sequentphysicians.com.
